Service information
Privacy
This policy provides a general explanation of the information You2Fast handles to provide, protect, and maintain the service.
What You2Fast is
You2Fast is a hub of tools for processing and converting files. Current conversions run on infrastructure operated for the service and are not intended for permanent storage.
Information we may receive
We may receive the files you choose to upload, conversion parameters, minimal technical data needed to operate and protect the service, and, if you use Contact, the details you include in that form.
Files and temporary processing
Your files may contain personal or confidential information, so you decide what to upload. Files receive random internal names, are processed in a private workspace for each job, and originals are not published. Access to the result requires logical ownership of the job. For successful operations, inputs and intermediate files are removed before the result is exposed; on failure, cancellation, or timeout, the workspace is cleaned when applicable.
File retention
Files and results are stored temporarily to perform the requested operation and allow download. A successful result is scheduled for automatic deletion after 30 minutes and may remain for up to approximately 5 additional minutes until the next cleanup run. Downloading it does not remove it immediately, and closing the browser does not cancel the job. After a restart, in-memory jobs disappear and orphaned workspaces are later cleaned according to their age.
Operational data and security
Tools operational records may include a random job ID, tool ID, file count, scheduler state, error codes, and result size. They are not designed to record file contents, original filenames, or internal paths. The IP address may be processed temporarily in memory for logical ownership, rate limiting, and security.
Aggregated analytics
When first-party analytics is enabled, You2Fast records daily aggregate metrics for tool views, conversions, outcomes, downloads, errors, language, device class, approximate country, and categorized traffic source. They are used for security, performance, and service improvement. IP addresses, file names or contents, full user agents, and persistent identifiers are not stored, and visitor profiles are not created. A page view's random token exists only briefly in memory and is not stored in the browser.
Contact requests
If you use the contact form, You2Fast stores the optional name, email, category, message, and, for copyright requests, an optional related URL. These details are used to review, respond to, and manage the request. The IP used for abuse prevention remains in memory and is not stored with the request.
Contact retention
Contact requests may be retained for up to 90 days and deleted sooner when no longer needed. Retention periods may be adjusted for operational reasons or under applicable rules.
Purposes and third parties
Information is used to perform conversions, protect the service, respond to requests, and resolve incidents. You2Fast does not sell personal data. Infrastructure, delivery, security, or advertising providers may process the minimum information needed to provide their services; Tools file processing currently takes place on our own infrastructure.
Advertising and third-party services
When advertising is enabled, You2Fast uses Adsterra, operated by AD MARKET LIMITED, as its advertising provider. In regions configured for prior consent, its scripts load only after acceptance. Adsterra and its partners may use cookies, identifiers, or other technologies to display ads and measure impressions or interactions. You2Fast controls when those scripts load on this site but does not control Adsterra’s internal practices.
In regions configured for prior consent, you can reject those scripts before they load and change your choice. In other regions, advertising funds the service and loads without that selector. You2Fast does not directly sell your personal data.
If you reject non-essential technologies, the current Adsterra scripts do not load. You2Fast has reserved a technical slot for future contextual advertising without tracking, but there is no confirmed official method or active integration for that case yet.
Cookies and local preferences
The browser locally stores the language, a temporary marker that prevents duplicate automatic downloads and, only where prior consent is requested, your advertising choice. That choice is stored as you2fast_ad_consent in localStorage; it is not a first-party cookie. Advertising providers may use their own cookies or technologies when ads load.
Requests about your data
You may ask for information about a contact request you submitted, or request its correction or deletion when appropriate. Use the contact form and choose “Privacy / personal data.” The response will depend on the information available and applicable rules.
